A free checklist for the coordinator running the daily site tempo.
Consistency is the quiet advantage of a well-run site. This is the tempo document — a one-page pass through the small, time-sensitive tasks that fall through the cracks when you're carrying three protocols at once.
One page, by design. A two-page daily checklist is a daily checklist people stop reading by week three.
What's inside:
- Header info block — date, CRC name, active protocols, backup coverage
- Morning Review — schedule and coverage, pre-visit chart review, clearing yesterday's open items
- IP, Lab & Specimens — temperature logs, lab kit inventory, pending specimen shipments
- Visits, Source & Data — conducting visits per protocol, source documentation, EDC entry and query resolution
- Safety & Regulatory — AE/SAE review, concomitant medication updates, protocol deviations and regulatory filing
Meant to be run at a fixed anchor moment — first coffee, morning huddle — and again in the last 15 minutes of the day for close-out items. Not a substitute for training. Adapt to your site's SOPs.
